The teachers who want to register for Utsashree Portal can now find all the information here. The new candidates can now register online on the official portal. Utsashree amendment 2023
The Department of Education in West Bengal has made changes to its Utshashree teacher transfer rules. This means that teachers who have been working in one school district can now be transferred to other schools in that district.
The latest Utsashree Amendment notification was released for the transfer of teachers working at the schools of Ramakrishna Mission, but these teachers were appointed by the School Service Commission, which is based on the recommendations of the previous Utsashree Amendment notification.

Utsashree for transfer
The Educational Minister Basu has started a new scholarship called the Swami Vivekananda Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship. This scholarship will give money to children who have done well in school and shown good character.
This new version of the website has a digital locker that makes mark sheets and certificates for higher secondary (grades 10 and 12) available online. It also has an online platform where parents can give NOCs (No Objection Certificates) to ICSE and CBSE schools in the state.
Previously, ICSE and CBSE schools had to apply for a NOC (No Objection Certificate) from the Education Department in person. However, the latest version of SVMCMS (School Vocational and Matriculation Management System) will now be available online.
In 2021 and 2022, the minimum score required to qualify for the scholarship was lowered from 75% to 60%. This was done in an effort to reach more students.
The SVMCMC program has been revamped in 2016 to include more students and increase the scholarship levels.
Students in grades 11-12, those who have completed their undergraduate degree, and those who have earned a Ph.D. are eligible to receive the award.
Making SVMCMC available online will make it easier for students to learn from and use.

Teachers are to log in to the portal with their Teacher Unique Code and PAN. If Unique Code matches with PAN as per OSMS database, a verification code will be sent to the registered Mobile & e-mail of the applicant. After submitting this verification code the applicant can log in to submit the transfer application online.
It is 8 characters long alphanumeric code generated by the system in the format ABCD1234, ABCD being any 4 characters from A to Z, 1234 being any 4 numbers from 0 to 9.
