Uttarakhand Purv Sainik Kalyan Nigam Limited is regarding providing employment opportunities to the unemployed people of Uttarakhand.
Here, the meaning of Purv Sainik is the retired soldiers who are coming back to their homes and now have nothing to do. In other words, they are unemployed now. But they are able to work and want to do work after retirement. So by looking at these conditions UPNL Program is started to provide job opportunities to retired soldiers and ex-servicemen.

1. To increase employment in the state upnal make continuous efforts for the re-employment of ex-servicemen and soldiers.
